Balram buys 27 pants so he gets 9 shirts......from equation(ii)

let the cost of 1 pant be Re 1
let the cost of 1 shirt be Re 1
So total cost of Rajesh is 15+9=24
So total cost of Balram is 27+9=36

Rajesh/balram=0.25/discount
24/36=0.25/discount
discount=37.5
