1)What is the difference between the maximum and minimum possible scores of B?
(a)10
(b)15
(c)20

(d)25

2)How many points did E scored in the third round?
(a)10

(b)15
(c)20
(d)25

3)Who scored the third highest score in the fourth round?
(a)A
(b)B
(c)C
(d)D

4)The scores of how many players in all the rounds could be uniquely determined?
(a)2
(b)3
(c)4
(d)5

Solution-

As we have completed the table, let's answer the questions
1) Maximum score of B = 80
    Minimum score of B = 65
    Difference = 80 - 65 = 15 ANS

2)10 points ANS

3) C scored the third highest points in the fourth round

4) A,C,D and E i.e, 4 ANS

  1. How did we find the deficit?

    1. We have to add 7 numbers whose sum is 140
So if we add 20 seven times,we get 140
      i.e, 20+20+20+20+20+20+20=140
out of these 7 numbers,3 numbers are 15,30 and 5
      So,if we add 5 to 15 we get 20
Similarly if we add 15 to 5 we get 20
So in these two terms we have deficit of 15+5=20
But on the other hand 30 = 20+10,10 extra points
Hence we require 20-10 = 10 extra points
So basically we are finding the deficit from the average points(20 in this case),i.e, how much we must add or subtract from the given points so that we get average points for each round.
Hope this helps,if you still have doubts feel free to ask.
      Thankyou
